The Kanestio Valley Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will host a dedication ceremony for a new Legends & Lore marker commemorating the Eight Mile Tree in Avoca, N.Y. The event will take place beginning at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8. The ceremony will be held at the Hubbard Stanton Farm Cemetery, located across from Crosby’s Gas Station. The public is welcome to attend.
