Jewelia Higgins National Votes for Women Trail Dedication

A dedication ceremony for a National Votes for Women Trail marker commemorating suffrage leader Jewelia Higgins will be held in Dayton, Ohio. The day’s events will begin with a service and presentation about the family’s history at First Wesleyan Church (401 Gramont Ave. Dayton, OH 45417). The marker dedication ceremony and ice cream social will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Early Visions Purpose Center, which is the the former site of the Summit Street YWCA.
