In the hamlet of Delphi Falls, New York located behind the Delphi Falls United Church is a small, stone walled cemetery. Most notable about this cemetery is that is the final resting place of Civil War Veteran and Medal of Honor recipient Norman Potter as well as several Revolutionary War Veterans. Potter was a First Sergeant with the 149th New York Infantry of the U.S. Army. His Medal of Honor citation simply reads “Capture of flag (Bragg’s army)”.
