In 1886, the Otisco Grange No. 517 was established in the Town of Otisco in Onondaga County, NY. It was organized by Clarence E. Hall with 15 charter members. In 1921, they built a hall to use for meetings and events. Prior to this, meetings were often held at the homes of members of the organization. In addition to Grange meetings, the hall served as a learning and cultural center for the area, with local events like dances, concerts, and dinners being held at the building. It was also used for Town of Otisco meetings and as a polling place for area voters. In December 1949, the local volunteer fire department was organized at the grange hall. Before its formation, the nearest fire protection for Otisco was over 10 miles away.

In 1974, the grange hall was purchased by St. Patrick’s Catholic Church of Otisco. As of 2023, it continues to be used by the church and the local community for gatherings and meetings.
