Matthew Winne Jr. (1806-1897) was a prominent farmer, boatmaker, and large landowner in the town of Niskayuna in Schenectady County, New York. In addition to representing Schenectady County in the New York State Assembly in 1854, Winne Jr. served his community as postmaster and as a church deacon. The home of Winne Jr. faces the Mohawk River and, as of 2022, was located alongside the Mohawk-Hudson Bike-Hike Trail in Niskayuna.
